Enquiries and communications

The contact form sends your email and the project details you provide to our team through Amazon SES email and a Discord notification. We use them to answer you and prepare your project, for pre-contractual exchanges or our legitimate interest in answering other enquiries.

Newsletters and availability alerts are optional and separate. An availability alert retains your details until its delivery attempt or for up to seven days. Newsletters rely on your consent; you can ask us to stop them by email. Enquiries and subscriptions currently have no general automatic deletion schedule.

Your account and voices

Demo sign-in uses your email and a temporary code. Session cookies keep you signed in. Your profile can store reference voices and vocabulary you choose to add. You can manage these items and delete your profile in the demo.

Online processing uses our translation infrastructure and Cloudflare hosting, storage and security services. Technical logs and request limits help protect the service.

Sharing a session is optional

You can use the demo without voluntarily saving a session. If you agree to share it, voices, translated audio, transcripts, translations, settings and technical events are retained for diagnosis and evaluation. Permission to train models is a separate choice.

Shared sessions currently have no automatic deletion. You can withdraw consent and delete a session using its private reference, or contact us. Deletion stops future uses but cannot guarantee removing the influence of training already completed. Do not share sensitive information or another person’s voice without permission.

Microsoft Clarity analytics

Clarity runs on every page, including the demo, to analyse navigation, clicks, scrolling, errors and page layouts. Without acceptance, its advertising and analytics storage are denied: it uses its cookieless mode. After acceptance, analytics storage is granted; advertising storage remains denied.

Page content is explicitly masked for Clarity, including demo fields, text and results. We do not send account identifiers or audio streams to Clarity. Masking content does not remove the technical information, page address or interaction data collected by the service.

Cookieless does not mean no personal data processing and does not guarantee an exemption from consent requirements. Navigation data is sent to Microsoft; its processing may involve transfers outside the European Economic Area. Its safeguards and retention periods are described in its documentation and privacy statement.

Your rights

Depending on the processing, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing. You can withdraw permission without affecting earlier processing. Email contact@uni-translate.fr with your request; evidence of identity may be needed if there is reasonable doubt.

You can also complain to a data protection authority, including the French CNIL (cnil.fr). You can change your cookie choice at any time on the “Cookies” page, linked at the bottom of the website. Continuing without cookies keeps Clarity in cookieless mode.
